There are multiple scholarships for black women out there that have yet to be applied for. One of the most important things to realize if you are a black woman is that you have a legitimate shot at winning a scholarship. This is due to the fact that African Americans are now the second largest minority in the United States and multiple scholarships and grants have been created to accommodate them.

College Scholarships For Black Women

  • Ron Brown Scholarships– Winners of this scholarship are awarded over $10,000 for 4 years, a total of $40,000. Check out the site to learn more about what you have to do to apply.   • The Jackie Robinson Foundation– Have you ever heard of the famous baseball player Jackie Robinson? Well, this is his foundation and you can win a lot of money if you fill out an application and apply for it. Over 1,400 students from 43 different states have benefited from this scholarship. You can be one of those students.
  • The United Negro College Fund– The United Negro College Fund is one of the largest organizations that helps black students get college money for school. Over the time of 67 years the United College Fund has raised over 3.3 billion that helped more than 400,000 students attend college. If you are a black woman then chances are you are going to want to check this scholarship out.
